This was a very special commission done on a California Agate slice. Blink and Rigel are two Vizslas from litters we had when we lived in northern BC. Their mother was our Lyric. Our very athletic, crazy, fun-loving girl. Rigel and Blink live the best life and have the most fun adventures. Like their mother they never seem to stay still very long (at least Blink doesn't - she is on the left side of the painting.
Rigel on the right is the older, wiser and role model of these two). I had to use two photos to put them together into one painting which proved to be challenging as the lighting was a different temperature and strength and from different directions. I am pleased how this turned out and so honoured to have been asked to paint this for their very special human.
